BEGINNING MARCH 4th RBMCC WILL BEGIN OFFERING 2 SERVICES,
WITH THE TRADITIONAL SERVICE MOVING TO 5:00 PM
AND THE 2nd SERVICE, P-3, WILL BEGIN AT 7:15.

It seems as though every church these days needs to spell out what they believe. It makes you wonder though, is there any room for differences of opinion within a single congregation? Or, perhaps it’s like the Borg from Star Trek. You must assimilate and any resistance to conforming to the group-think litany of beliefs is futile! At RBMCC, we definitely have our beliefs. Chief among them, however, is the belief that Holy Spirit alone makes the Word of God come alive and speak into a person’s heart. It is not the church’s job as an organization to dictate to our congregants what they must conclude from their own reading of Scripture and communion with God. This is not to say that our pastor, deacons, board members and other “leaders” within the church don’t have specific, passionately held beliefs about faith that they believe are universally true. It does mean that RBMCC, from the leadership down, believes that God is the Author and Finisher of our faith and that God’s Spirit is quite capable of faithfully executing the responsibility to perfect faith in each of us according to God’s promise in the Bible. So, everyone who visits MCC is both welcome and encouraged to test everything they hear taught against their own reading of Scripture and the Spirit of God that lives inside of them. You will not be judged or alienated because of beliefs that perhaps are not normative within our church. But what will you hear taught from our pulpit and in our Bible studies, you ask?
