Welcome to Resurrection Beach MCCCosta Mesa, California, serving Orange County, Long Beach and beyond.

Join us for worship Sunday evenings at 7:00 PM where we combine traditional hymns, acoustic contemporary worship, Biblical lessons and a welcoming and affirming environment filled with the healing and uplifting power of the Holy Spirit.

Worship services usually last 90 minutes and are followed by food, beverages and conversation.

In addition to regular Sunday services, Resurrection Beach MCC holds a weekly hour-long Bible Study on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM.

Yes! You can be Gay and Christian. Come find out how.

A Calling to Love, A Calling to Serve

We worship a loving God, full of grace and salvation through Christ Jesus. No matter who you are or how you identify yourself, God loves you and will meet you where you are in your life to fill you with purpose and calling.

It is our mission to preach this loving Gospel and to live it by example. We seek to emulate Jesus and we strive to become better Christians through worship, prayer, stewardship of our community and fellowship with one another.

There is much hatred in this world. The forces of darkness yearn to use this to convince homosexual, bisexual and transgendred people that we are not welcome at God's table. The overwhelming Biblical evidence shows this not to be the case.

Time after time God has reached out to the oppressed, the poor, the sick and the marginalized. Jesus spent his ministry preaching to those who were shunned by the established religion of his day. We continue Christ's ministry as we preach and practice the Gospel of love, personal salvation and empowerment.

You are welcome here! Join us in celebration of a loving and living God who offers us redemption and grace and indeed the power to resurrect ourselves from that which seeks to keep each of us down. Become a part of our community in Christ.

RBMCC ~ Connecting with Believers from Across Southern California and Around the World

Resurrection Beach MCC draws members and regular attendees from around Southern California, as those who are seeking a welcoming community of faith are drawn to the Christ-centered and Spirit-filled worship services. We are a lay-led congregation, which means we rely upon the work of many to build the ministries of our church.

As we do not have a full-time pastor at this time, we are blessed with a diversity of speakers from around MCC and other denominations, who join a seasoned team of lay ministers in preaching the Sunday sermons.

By encouraging this diversity in our pulpit, Resurrection Beach MCC is constantly opening doors to people representing different worship backgrounds and preaching styles that reflect the greater diversity of our denomination and our faith.

Our Calling is Global, Our Foundation is Local

Likewise, through our participation in and support of MCC ministries world-wide, Resurrection Beach MCC is committed to helping spread the message of God's love for all people to all corners of Orange County and the planet. From Westminster to Eastern Europe and from Los Alamitos to Latin America, RBMCC is committed to supporting and lifting up our sisters and brothers who are serving Christ's mission through our prayer, financial gifts and gifts of talent wherever and whenever needed.

Current and recent ministries and outreach programs include:

Strength for the Journey scholarship drive
Children's Hospital of Orange County HIV/AIDS programs
AIDS Team Ministry - meals for those struggling with HIV
